Even without making the honor roll, "X-Men: First Class" has earned a pass for future semesters.. This blazing "pre-boot" breathes new life into the sagging franchise. I'm thinking it, so I might as well say it: Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is no Fast Five.. I've never seen a film in which what was actually onscreen seemed so irrelevant..
